MV "Gerd Sibum" 1959-1964
Bros. Stefan and Hermann Sibum founded their shipping company when buying the first motorvessel "Gerd" in 1953. Thereafter they have continuously kept their fleet at a modern stage by selling and buying vessels in regular intervals. The shipping company has been built up carefully with a special focus on young and modern tonnage.
In the meantime, Reederei Sibum achieved an excellent reputation in the shipping circle as a reliable and honest partner.
MV "Maria Sibum" 1986-2000
During the early years, the vessels of Reederei Sibum have been trading in coastal trade within european waters.
When following the logistic demands in the eighties, Stefan and Hermann Sibum decided to focus their activities to modern containervessels in worldwide trade.
MV "Stefan Sibum" 1997-2006
The nineties were characterized by a generation change within the shipping company. Stefan Sibum's son Bernd Sibum decided to follow his father's footsteps and he continued the family tradition in shipping business by ordering his first vessel "Stefan Sibum" which was delivered in 1997.
